KODAMAP collects as little as it can get away with. Here's the complete picture.

What's collected

An account needs an email and password. Using the map or submitting a tree stores what you enter: location, photos, ratings, and if you're signed in, who added it. The lawful basis is consent for your account and legitimate interest for the map content itself.

Who else sees it

Cloudflare hosts the site, the database, and the photos. Resend sends account emails: password resets and moderation updates. That's the complete list.

How long things are kept

A rejected submission and its photos are deleted after 90 days, including a guest's email address. Server logs are kept 30 days. Everything else stays until you delete your account or ask.

Your data, your call

Export everything as JSON or delete your account from settings, any time. Deleting keeps the trees you added on the map with the attribution anonymised, unless you ask otherwise.
